Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: September 7 – September 11, 2026

Every week brings new opportunities to support our members and strengthen Southwest Riverside County’s business community. Whether we’re creating spaces for meaningful connections, engaging with regional leaders, celebrating local businesses, or advancing initiatives that support economic growth, we’re proud to be working alongside the people and organizations helping our region thrive.

Here are five highlights from the past week:

1. We were excited to host our September Networking Breakfast, bringing our business community together for valuable connections and an important conversation on “Building the Future Workforce: Connecting Education & Business.” Dr. Ward Andrus of Murrieta Valley Unified School District and Dr. Ryan Lewis of Lake Elsinore Unified School District shared how local schools are preparing students for the evolving workplace.
2. Patrick attended the 2026 State of the Third District, where Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington shared updates on key initiatives, priorities, and opportunities shaping our region, centered around this year’s theme, “Growing Strong for Children and Families”.
3. Patrick convened with Riverside County Workforce Development, the Riverside County Office of Education, and industry partners to discuss workforce initiatives aimed at supporting youth within Riverside County’s juvenile justice system. The conversation focused on creating meaningful pathways to employment, skills development, and long-term opportunities through strong collaboration between education, workforce, and industry.
4. Patrick met with Lamar Advertising to explore potential advertising opportunities and discuss special pricing options for Chamber members. The conversation focused on ways to provide our members with greater access to digital billboard and signage opportunities, helping businesses increase their visibility and reach throughout the region.
5. Patrick met with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce to discuss opportunities to collaborate on future workforce education programs and events. The conversation focused on bringing regional partners together to share resources, strengthen workforce development efforts, and create meaningful opportunities for businesses and the next generation of talent.
